Radheshyam and Kalia

Once there was a sage called Radheshyam and a snake called Kalia. The sage used to go for his evening prayer to the denser part of the forest where the snake lived. One day the snake heard someone chanting and went to see him. The snake was very delighted to see a sage because from childhood he wanted to learn *pranayam and he had a feeling that Radheshyam could teach him.

He went and asked Radheshyam but came back empty handed. Radheshyam had spoken to him very rudely and to take revenge he thought  he should bite him and kill him. While he was planning for revenge an old man heard him and thought he should help Radheshyam. So to help him he told the snake,”If you want to kill the sage you have a good chance tomorrow morning because he goes to the people tree over that hill every Wednesday to do his yoga. “The snake thanked him and started planning on his revenge for tomorrow morning. The next day the old man got up early and dressed up like Radheshyam and left for the hill. He started acting like he was doing yoga when Kalia came and waited to see what he does. Kalia slowly slithered towards him and bit him on the neck and ran away.

Just then Radheshyam saw Kalia bite him and run away and he rushed towards the old man. He quickly put some *Ayurveda on his neck to stop it from bleeding. Once the man recovered Radheshyam asked him, “Why did the snake bite you.”And the old man told him the whole story… After hearing everything the Radheshyam felt so bad he thought,”All this happened because of me if I hadn’t spoken to Kalia so rudely all this wouldn’t have happened.”Then the old man said , “Go to Kalia tell him everything and also tell him sorry and as a gift teach him Pranayam.” Radheshyam did as told and he also made an oath that he will never be rude to someone and always will talk politely.

MORAL- Never talk rudely or something bad will happen to you or someone else will have to bear the pain.

Meanings-*

Freda’s challenge to the dance teacher

Once upon a time a girl named Freda, who lived in London, loved dancing. However, she never got a chance to learn. Every time, she asked her mom, her mom would say”It’s too expensive!” So, Freda felt sad. Every day after school, she would go to the dance club, peep and try to learn.
One day the dance teacher spotted her. Freda tried to run away but, she got caught. The dance teacher said “If you defeat my best student in dancing, you can join for free”. So, Freda agreed and asked “What time?”. The dance teacher said “Tomorrow, at 5:30 in the evening”.
So, Freda ran home and started practicing. She practiced really hard. She took no break and practiced the whole night and the next morning as well. She was ready for the challenge and then she went to the dance club.

She saw the teacher and her best student in the class waiting for her. The teacher’s best student told Freda “I will only win!!!” and then the competition began. First Freda did what she had practiced and then the girl did her dance. Freda’s dance was perfect as she had practiced well but the student was over-confident and made a lot of mistakes.
The teacher got up to announce the results. Freda took a deep breath and closed her eyes. She hear the teacher say ” The winner is Freda”. Freda was so happy and that student was been thrown out of the club. Then Freda told the teacher” Thank you so so so much”. She ran home and told her mom. Her mom was so happy that she started dancing.
Moral: Never be over confident and keep trying !!!!!

I went to a Beach

I went to a beach with lots of shells
That made the sound of the bells
The water is blue and waves are white
Which looks like a wonderful sight.
The water is deep
And the hills are steep
The sun is bright
There is so much light.
I see a crab with sharp nails
And some fish with long tails
As I sit on the sand, which is wet
I feel happy to see the sun set.
